City Council Meeting, Tuesday 8/2, Community Center ,6:30 PM
Please come out to the City Council meeting ,at the Community Center , Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM..The agenda will include the Council discussing the setting the tentative millage rate, for this years property tax bill. During the past City Council Workshop meeting on Tuesday the 26th, they discussed raising the millage rate above the present 3.50 level. They also want to increase our Storm water rate to $9 per month. ( a slight increase over the present $8/month, but never the less an increase) See you there...

When Mr. Netts became Mayor he immediately took away the ability of citizens to place items on the Council meeting agenda, would you be willing to restore that right?
ReplyDeleteMost certainly.. Right now, too few residents come to the City Council meetings..When the large groups show, up it's normally related to something happening, that most are opposed to . Let's get all resident concerns out front and discussed. No one should be denied the right to get a subject on the agenda. I did see one exception to the restricted policy, within the past 2 months, so let's keep the positive comments and agenda items coming.. Thanks for writing
